About The Position

Environment Control is hiring a full-time, Recruiter to join our team. The responsibilities of this position include managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and posting job advertisements to screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates. The Recruiter will coordinate hiring events, maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations, track applicant data, and collaborate closely with Operations and HR to meet staffing needs. This role also supports employee retention initiatives and ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. This position is based out of our Spokane Valley office and required a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, including two evenings per week to support our hiring needs. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have 6 months previous recruiter or hiring experience
  • Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle due to the nature of the position.
  • Must have working smart phone due to the nature of the position.
  • Willing to work some evenings and on Saturdays.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally with an ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Able to read and follow simple instructions in English (Intermediate – Level 2). Bilingual applicants are highly recommended to apply!
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks and hiring.
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company hiring requirements.
  • Coordinate and attend local hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach efforts.
  • Communicate with Operations regularly to fulfill hiring needs.
  • Track hiring metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on staffing progress and workforce trends.
  • Attend all company meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with Washington State labor laws and company hiring policies.
