About The Position

Dealership: L0837 Anaheim Hyundai Lithia & Driveway of California Now Hiring: Experienced Recruiter Full-time hours are Monday to Friday, either 8-5 or 9-6. On-site position: preferred location Anaheim, CA with an option for hybrid after 90 days Salary: $50,000 to $75,000 annually. Provides support to 10-15 dealerships in California. Travel within the market is necessary for on-site hiring events and college or focus school career fairs. Previous experience in automotive recruiting and sourcing is highly preferred. Interviews with qualified candidates are scheduled to take place beginning February 17th. Estimated Start Date between March 23rd and April 13th.

Requirements

  • AA or undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Proficient typing and data entry skills
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the appropriate Hiring Manager, General Manager and Group Vice President to determine selection criteria for each open position.
  • Work with Hiring Managers to create and develop effective recruitment marketing campaigns and channels to source candidates, including advertisements, hiring events, career centers, and job programs.
  • Recruit quality talent through targeted active and passive recruiting sources (i.e. resume databases, cold calling, references, referrals, interviews, print media, online, etc.)
  • Facilitate the application process and proctor any required pre-employment assessments.
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews and provide Hiring Manager(s) with candidate summary information.
  • Provide coaching to Hiring Managers on interviewing, candidate feedback and selection.
  • Consult with Hiring Managers, General Managers and Group Vice Presidents to ensure the best qualified candidates are selected for positions based on skill set, experience and cultural (company) fit.
  • Partner with HR/Hiring Support Specialist to facilitate motor vehicle records (MVRs), background checks and drug screens, and new hire orientations for all new hires and monitor all on-boarding activities with Payroll, HR, Learning & Development and Computer Services as needed.
