About The Position

At Tricoci Salon | Spa, we believe in the power of beauty, self-care, and a sense of belonging. We're a leading name in the beauty industry, offering an experiential space where our clients and team members can discover their best selves. As the Recruiter, you will be sourcing, engaging, screening, assessing, hiring, and onboarding talent for technician roles who work directly in our Salon | Spa. This role is hands-on, and you will work collaboratively with our Operations and Education teams, and you will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in high volume full-cycle recruitment with both hourly and salaried roles.
  • Wellness and beauty industry preferred.
  • Multi-unit retail/restaurant/hospitality / multi-state experience ideal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a focus on results.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced, high energy and evolving environment.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, to handle critical situations utilizing good judgment and professionalism.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles, beyond Seek Out, LinkedIn, indeed, Better Teams and Zip Recruiter.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proven track record of collaboration and building active partnerships.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, representing the Tricoci brand with pride.
  • Ability to work in the office at the Tricoci HQ in Schaumburg
  • Capacity to work in person at a variety of locations including our Salons & Spas, Beauty Schools, and other event venues (may include some evenings and weekends).
  • You will need reliable transportation to attend events on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Building Strategic Pipelines:
  • Utilize various channels to source potential candidates, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract our priority talent needs.
  • Proactively build and maintain partnerships with Beauty Schools and maintain active pipelines for key roles to ensure a consistent pool of qualified candidates.
  • Use data, industry knowledge, and experience to identify and engage with diverse talent and influence long-term hiring strategies for the company.
  • Engaging, Screening and Assessing Potential Talent:
  • Timely screen and effectively interview talent to ensure an outstanding candidate experience and provide thorough communication on next steps to all involved in the process.
  • Assess and communicate candidate’s strengths and development needs to hiring managers.
  • Support initiatives to enhance company culture and employee engagement.
  • Recruitment and Offers:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Communicate various pay-structures and benefit information showcasing Tricoci as an employer of choice to potential candidates.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Coordinate technician placement with Operations according to location business needs and schedules.
  • Initiate offers of employment and on-boarding process including checking references and background checks.
  • Ensure headcount metrics are achieved with each Technician training class.
  • Talent Acquisition Administration:
  • Maintain records and support the Applicant Tracking System (Team Tailor).
  • Generate weekly reports on talent acquisition metrics, including candidates interviewed, hired and in the pipeline.
  • Coordinate hiring events, technical interviews, and on-going talent acquisition events.
