About The Position

Overnight Parts Alliance (OPA) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Recruiter to support hiring efforts across the organization. This role plays a critical part in identifying, screening, and progressing candidates through the recruiting process while ensuring compliance and a positive candidate experience. The Recruiter will work closely with both the HR Manager and Operations Manager, becoming familiar with all OPA positions, utilizing ADP Recruiting, and managing pre-employment background checks. This is a part-time salaried position based on approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to work remotely after training is completed.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable learning and using applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment
  • Basic computer proficiency (email, calendar management, document handling)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous recruiting, staffing, or HR support experience
  • Experience with background check processes and pre-employment screening
  • Familiarity with remote or partially remote work environments
  • ADP experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all positions within Overnight Parts Alliance, including job requirements and hiring priorities
  • Learn, navigate, and utilize the ADP Recruiting system to manage requisitions and candidate workflows
  • Conduct professional phone screenings and candidate follow-up
  • Initiate, monitor, and manage all types of background checks accurately and confidentially
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and communication with hiring leaders
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date recruiting records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, the HR Manager, and the Operations Manager regarding hiring status and needs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and confidentiality requirements
  • Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with additional recruiting and HR-related tasks as assigned
