About The Position

Surge Staffing is seeking a Recruiter to join our team at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates to support our internal field staffing offices. The Recruiter plays a critical role in building talent pipelines, supporting branch hiring needs, and delivering a strong candidate experience. This is a full-time, salaried position.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience preferred (staffing or high-volume recruiting experience a plus)
Strong phone, video conferencing, and virtual interview skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of different sourcing platforms
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for a variety of positions across multiple staffing locations
Review job requirements and qualifications to determine candidate fit
Post job openings to appropriate job boards and sourcing platforms
Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates to support ongoing and future hiring needs
Conduct initial interviews and candidate assessments
Maintain consistent communication throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience
Build long-term relationships with candidates to support repeat placements and future opportunities
Collaborate with internal hiring managers and field offices to understand hiring needs, timelines, and priorities
Present qualified candidates and support interview coordination and offer processes
Serve as a liaison between candidates and internal stakeholders
