About The Position

About the job: The Recruiter for Airport Operations at SFO applies working knowledge and experience in talent acquisition to broaden capabilities. Continues to build understanding of United's hiring processes and requirements, performing various recruitment assignments across different job levels. Uses prescribed guidelines to screen and interview candidates, receiving moderate guidance in developing and implementing recruitment solutions.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Talent Acquisition knowledge and/or full cycle recruiting experience
  • Up to 40% domestic travel required and the ability to attend events when needed
  • Ability to proactively identify and engage passive and active candidates through diverse channels to build strong pipelines
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and partners throughout the recruitment process
  • Experience prioritizing and completing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • The ability to stand and sit for long periods of time during hiring and vendor events
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

Responsibilities

  • Sources and screens internal and external resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates, conducting initial assessments and interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Contributes to applicant flow management from beginning of process (open requisition) to end (hire chosen applicant and reject all others), communicating with managers, business partners and candidates/applicants throughout the process.
  • Handles the candidate offer process along with hiring managers, including background verification, offer approval process, and candidate correspondence.
  • Helps develop future candidate pipelines and talent maps, determining optimal job advertising mix, including job boards, careers pages and social networks and hiring pools.
  • Conducts candidate interviews and provides formal feedback and recommendations based on interview outcomes.
