This role combines strategic sourcing, relationship-building, and hands-on recruiting execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years of HR experience with a strong focus on recruiting, sourcing, and employee communications.
  • Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Experience with legal, effective recruiting and interviewing practices.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools, HRIS platforms, and recruiting technology.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • A true team player who builds positive relationships across departments.
  • Demonstrates Sentry’s A Player Competencies: Aptitude, Alliance, Agility, Accountability, Awareness, and Anticipation.
  • Brings a positive attitude, tact, and diplomacy when working with candidates and employee-owners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and success criteria.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and community engagement.
  • Identify and engage passive candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, social platforms, and industry networks.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and niche roles, including Service Technician positions.
  • Review applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ experience, skills, and cultural alignment.
  • Coordinate interviews and collaborate with internal partners to ensure an efficient, positive candidate experience.
  • Create, post, and manage internal and external job postings aligned with business needs and Sentry’s brand.
  • Train supervisors and culture interview participants on effective and compliant interview practices.
  • Manage Sentry’s intern and co-op program, supporting hiring, coordination, and onboarding.
  • Track, analyze, and report recruiting and hiring metrics to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential candidate and employee records within the HRIS and HR files.
  • Support onsite employee relations matters as needed.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of job descriptions and recruiting processes.
  • Partner closely with the HR team and leaders across the organization to support a strong, values-driven culture.
  • Pitch in on other HR initiatives and projects as assigned.
