About The Position

At Fastbreak AI, we're here to change how sports operations are managed. With the power of artificial intelligence, we deliver precision scheduling, seamless league and tournament management, and smarter sponsorship activation for professional, college, and amateur sports organizations. We’re searching for an exceptional Recruiter to join Fastbreak’s People team and help us scale thoughtfully and quickly. This role is ideal for an early-career to experienced recruiter who’s excited to jump into sourcing, own full-cycle hiring processes, and partner closely with hiring managers in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll play a critical role in building high-performing teams—owning searches from kickoff through offer, improving candidate experience, and helping us hire the right people as we grow.

Requirements

  • 1–4+ years of recruiting experience (agency or in-house)
  • Comfortable jumping into sourcing and execution—this is a hands-on role
  • Experience running multiple searches at once in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong communication skills with candidates and internal partners
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively
  • Curious, adaptable, and excited to grow with a startup

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles (product, operations, sales, tech, etc)
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and creative outreach
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring plans, and timelines
  • Manage candidate pipelines, interviews, and feedback with speed and organization
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience from first touch to close
  • Help improve and document recruiting processes as we scale
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide clear updates to stakeholders
  • Represent our employer brand in the Charlotte market and beyond
