About The Position

The Recruiter is responsible for developing and maintaining all recruitment advertising, including social media channels, and proactively sourcing talent from available databases. This role involves representing the organization at job fairs, educational institutions, and community events. Key duties include responding quickly to candidate inquiries, coordinating interviews and tours, and communicating daily updates on interviews, screenings, and new hires. The Recruiter will also schedule selected candidates for onboarding and orientation with the HR Generalist, maintain a high degree of confidentiality, and assist with other Human Resources office duties as needed. The position requires a working knowledge of current recruiting and HRIS systems, strong communication, and computer skills, including proficiency with platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook.

Requirements

  • One or more years direct recruiting experience in a high volume work environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Working knowledge of current recruiting and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication and computer skills to include LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
