About The Position

The HR Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day Human Resource operations, while recruiting, and retaining top talent.

Requirements

  • Previous Human Resources and Recruiting experience.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision required.
  • Ability to remain calm and keep up while working under pressure in a busy growing environment.
  • Ability to work within timeframe of standard policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential.

  • Associates Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with HR Manager and Hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Sourcing potential candidates through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards.
  • Conduct phone screens/interviews
  • Schedule In Person interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews.
  • Identifies potential candidates by cold calling and using other creative methods to build and maintain a continuous applicant pool.
  • Responsible for placement of job postings, tracking and screening of all support center and staff resumes.
  • Maintains employee requisition forms and resume database with candidate information.
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork.
  • Creates and maintains a management reporting tool that provides insight into key recruiting information including recruiting status and trends; time to fill; open positions and other relevant information.
  • Responsible for onboarding employees to include IT request for full set-up, working with department managers to establish workspace, employee handbook overview and onboarding.
  • Create and maintain complete and confidential electronic files on each employee in the HR drive.
  • Processes, verifies, and maintains documentation relating to personnel as needed.
  • Assists with company’s benefit administration to include enrollment forms, plan questions, claims resolution, open enrollment, etc.
  • Perform other duties assigned and needed.
