About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Caesars New Orleans is seeking a Recruiter with demonstrated success in high‑volume hiring who can independently manage the full‑cycle recruitment process and consistently secure top‑quality talent under tight deadlines. This individual must be a creative, high‑energy, and hands‑on professional with strong administrative and organizational skills, capable of multitasking effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple requisitions while maintaining high-quality candidate engagement.
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to identify and attract top talent across diverse roles.
  • Proven experience building robust and diverse talent pools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint), internet tools, and HR systems; experience with Oracle or other HRIS/ATS platforms is a plus.
  • Skilled in using social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) for sourcing and candidate outreach.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Knowledge of federal employment regulations, including EEO.
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and carry up to 5 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers, fax machine and photocopier.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

Responsibilities

  • Create an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Manage all phases of the recruitment cycle for assigned positions, including search intake, writing job descriptions, developing search strategies, sourcing both active and passive candidates, screening and assessing applicants, interviewing, and extending job offers.
  • Serve as the front desk representative and ensure continuous coverage of the HR Front Desk.
  • Provide excellent, friendly, and helpful service to internal and external customers by responding to inquiries, requests, and questions promptly.
  • Process new, renewal, and key gaming licenses; review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility according to established LSP guidelines.
  • Input Personnel Administration data for new hires, transfers, promotions, address changes, and other employment status updates.
  • Assist applicants with logging into the career website, and provide information about the company’s facilities, operations, benefits, and career opportunities.
  • Conduct I‑9 audits, complete Form I‑9, verify documentation, and maintain I‑9 records.
  • Create compelling job descriptions to attract qualified candidates.
  • Partner with departments and leadership to define role requirements, source talent, and oversee the full hiring process.
  • Increase efficiency and reduce cycle time by guiding Hiring Managers on recruiting processes and best practices.
  • Coach Hiring Leaders when appropriate actions are not taken during the hiring process.
  • Train Hiring Leaders to ensure compliance with company policy as well as local and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with leaders during pre‑posting meetings to attract the appropriate candidate pool.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies based on business needs.
  • Proactively identify candidates through job board postings, community outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Drive the hiring process and provide regular updates to Hiring Managers regarding recruiting activity and challenges.
  • Partner with Leaders and Employee Relations to identify opportunities for process improvements and support achievement of business metrics.
  • Communicate available talent to Hiring Managers and make recommendations on staffing plans to ensure operational success.
  • Manage time effectively by accurately scheduling interviews, following up with candidates, and completing administrative responsibilities.
  • Plan and execute recruiting projects across the Caesars New Orleans property.
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with stakeholders to support a world‑class recruiting function.
  • Implement recruiting processes aligned with evolving business needs, securing active buy-in from key stakeholders across the Caesars property.
  • Actively develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Create and maintain internal and external talent pools, along with succession planning programs.
  • Utilize the latest online recruiting tools and methodologies to attract top-tier talent.
  • Screen and assess candidates to gather work history, education, training, skills, salary requirements, and relevant background details.
  • Maintain applicant information and documentation within the Oracle and Taleo systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, alumni groups, and community organizations to attract diverse applicants.
  • Ensure applicant tracking, compliance requirements, conflict of interest documentation, and necessary approvals are uploaded into the applicant tracking system.
  • Provide support to other HR functions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
