About The Position

The Recruiter is responsible for supporting the company’s overall hiring objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, professional discernment and attention to detail. Together with others on the hiring team, the Recruiter works across multiple functional departments to ensure the company’s hiring objectives and strategies are identified and met. Reports to the Corporate Recruiting Manager. Requirements

  • Required Education: Associate’s Degree in related field
  • Operations-focused in-house recruiting experience
  • Proactive self-starter, strong time management skills, excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience posting and managing content on various social media platforms
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, HR, Organizational Psychology or related field
  • Recruiting and candidate interview experience a plus, including ATS platforms
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in various computer applications

Responsibilities

  • Promotes job openings on various social media platforms and Applicant Tracking System to maximize company’s visibility and streamline candidate interaction
  • Posts job openings on the Karman’s website, classified ad sites, technical schools and college job boards
  • Coordinates various phases of the hiring process:
  • Reviews resumes and associated candidate information
  • Establishes and maintains all candidate communication during the hiring process
  • Conducts candidate phone interviews and onsite interviews
  • Coordinates onsite interview logistics with internal personnel
  • Organizes and maintains company’s recruiting database of candidates, job descriptions, offer letters and non-selection letters
  • Presents and negotiates written offers (or non-selection letters) to candidates
  • Requests and communicates input from department managers on candidate, interview feedback, skills assessments, company fit and appropriate compensation packages
  • Works with leadership team toward offer decisions and internal hiring approvals, negotiates candidate offers on behalf of company
  • Provides support for new hire onboarding and orientation as needed
  • Participates in outside and online recruiting events and job fairs
  • Collaborates with the Corporate Recruiting Manager to identify new resource needs and implement process improvements
