Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Recruiter role focuses on providing direct, face-to-face support to employees on the manufacturing floor, responsible for a variety of recruitment activities ensure the organization's recruitment process is efficient, effective, and equitable. The Recruiter will work closely with both employees and management to foster a productive, compliant, and positive work environment that supports the growth and profitability of the organization. What a typical day looks like: Prepare internal and external job advertisements, web postings, job descriptions and other materials in accordance with the organization's recruitment standards and business needs so that potential job applicants have the information they need to decide whether, and how to apply for a vacant position. Screen and shortlist candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring manager. Respond to enquiries from candidates, hiring managers and external recruitment agencies about the organization's recruitment activities and about the status of job vacancies so that interested parties are kept informed without compromising the organization's standards of privacy and confidentiality. Contact candidates, arrange interview times and develop appropriate interview questions in collaboration with the hiring manager so that interviews are conducted efficiently and equitably. Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the job requirements and pre-established selection criteria and the organization's recruitment policies. Prepare job offer materials in accordance with the agreed job specifications so that successful candidates have all the information they need to decide whether to accept the position. Provide on-the-floor HR support to employees during the 3rd shift, addressing workplace concerns and offering real-time assistance with HR-related programs. Assist in analyzing site metrics and contributing insights to drive key decisions that improve manufacturing operations. Schedule and oversee employee onboarding processes for new hires on the manufacturing floor, ensuring a smooth transition into Flex's goals and culture. Ensure consistent treatment of employees and apply Flex policies and procedures fairly, maintaining a harmonious work environment. Foster and maintain positive working relationships across all employee levels, particularly among manufacturing staff. Coordinate required, ensuring all manufacturing employees are up-to-date. Act as an advocate for employees on the floor, providing guidance and resources to help address workplace concerns and assist with contacting the GBS HR Help Desk as needed. Train managers on new HR programs, systems, and processes to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with business goals.
