About The Position

This position has a flexible base location within any of our three Giving Factory markets – Greater Boston, Chicagoland or Philadelphia. This role is primarily remote and may occasionally be asked to work in person in one of our Giving Factories. We are seeking a part-time, temporary Recruiter to join our HR team for a 3-4 month assignment to provide hands-on recruiting support. This role is integral in helping us identify, attract, and hire the right talent for our teams. The Recruiter will partner closely with the HR team and hiring managers to support a thoughtful, efficient, and high-quality hiring process across multiple open roles, supporting our workforce needs and contributing to the organization’s overall success. The ideal candidate is highly organized and responsive, with a solid understanding of end-to-end recruitment and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with team priorities. All Cradles to Crayons team members contribute to a culture of shared mission by participating in one volunteer shift per month.

Requirements

  • Passion for Cradles to Crayons’ mission
  • 3-4 years of recruiting experience for a variety of roles
  • Experience supporting multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and standard recruiting tools
  • Must be proactive, adaptable, collaborative, reliable, and possess strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Exemplary organizational and project management skills and ability to independently manage requisitions
  • High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Model and lead a positive “One Cradles” culture, underpinned by Cradles’ cultural values and norms.
  • Support full cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screens.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruiting process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct and document professional reference checks.
  • Assist with offer preparation and background check coordination, as needed.
  • Provide general recruitment and administrative support to the HR team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
