Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum age of 21
Valid State-issued Driver’s License
Ability to pass a background check
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
A passion for recreation, physical fitness, and community engagement.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience in coaching, mentoring, or a related field is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and evaluate engaging recreational programs for various demographics.
Supervise and train a team of recreation staff and volunteers.
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
Foster community relationships and promote recreational programs.
Manage budgets, resources, and inventory related to recreational activities.
Collect and analyze feedback to improve program offerings continually.
Plan and organize special events and community outreach initiatives.
