About The Position
ARISE at the Farm is now hiring Summer Recreation Counselors for the 2026 summer season! This is an exciting opportunity to spend your summer outside, build valuable experience, and support children and young adults with disabilities in a fun, engaging farm environment. The Recreation Counselor works directly with and supports program participants to ensure a safe, inclusive, and rewarding summer experience. Counselors help deliver innovative recreational, educational, and social activities designed to promote growth, independence, and fun for children and young adults with disabilities. This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, compassionate, creative, and excited to work as part of a team in an outdoor farm setting.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age (or turning 18 by June 1, 2026)
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required
