About The Position

Incumbent in this position assists the Recreation Program Counselors in facilitating all events and activities developed for participants of the seasonal recreation programs.

Requirements

• Interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills as demonstrated through involvement with student government, extra-curricular activities, organized sports, etc.
• Understanding of group dynamics and conflict resolution
• Must be enrolled in High School
• Prior experience working with school-age children through babysitting, coaching, scouting, etc.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided evenings and/or weekends prior to the start of the program)
• Successful candidate must pass the background check and continue to be eligible for employment in accordance with The Mohegan Tribe’s Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Policy
• Must be between the ages of 15 (by May 31, 2026) and 17
• Must be a member of The Mohegan Tribe
