Recreation Coordinator - Assisted Living
About The Position
The Recreation Coordinator at Mulberry Gardens, an assisted living community, assists The Activities Director in providing active and passive, group and individual activities to enhance the mental, physical, spiritual, and social needs of residents. The role aims to allow residents to continue playing an active role in society. Mulberry Gardens offers supportive living environments and specialized care for those with early memory loss, as well as assisted living and adult day care programs, all focused on providing residents with the best quality of life.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English
- Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a CT Public Service License with passenger endorsement within three months of hire
Nice To Haves
- One or more years experience working with older adults preferred
