The Recovery Specialist SUD assists clients with daily living activities and tracks, monitors and documents client behaviors and interactions. This role also assists in planning therapeutic recreation for groups, and may lead individual and group activities with clients. The specialist completes day-to-day program tasks, monitors clients and the program facility to ensure safety and compliance with program guidelines. Additionally, the position serves as the point of contact by providing coverage of the front desk, reception area, and phone systems, and provides administrative and program support for the staff and residents. Centerstone is a nonprofit health system providing mental health and substance use disorder treatments nationally through outpatient clinics, residential programs, telehealth, and an inpatient hospital. They also feature specialized programs for the military community, therapeutic foster care, children’s services, and employee assistance programs.
