Recovery Coach- Full Time - Bridgeport Outpatient
About The Position
Liberation Programs is hiring a Recovery Coach to provide recovery coaching services to Recoverees on-site at our Outpatient Treatment Facilities in Bridgeport and Stamford, CT. The Recovery Coach will serve as a source of hope and support, including as a motivator, recovery resource broker, mentor and liaison to individuals struggling with opioid misuse or other substance misuse, including alcohol. The ideal person will be kind, enthusiastic, extremely well organized and passionate about working closely with people in recovery. A valid driver's license, insurance and reliable vehicle required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to manage conflict
- De-escalation Skills
- Ability to travel to and from our Bridgeport and Stamford Location
- Reliable and ability to be flexible depending on each clinic's needs
- Understanding of medication-assisted recovery, treatment and best practices
- Experienced at building effective coach-Recoveree relationships
- Ability to be an effective listener
- Ability to communicate and work in conjunction with clinical staff regarding recoveree needs/progress
Nice To Haves
- Recover Coach Certification strongly preferred
- Certificate of Completion from the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy required
- Certificate of Completion from the CCAR Training in Ethical Considerations
