About The Position

The Reconditioning Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring that every vehicle meets our rigorous standards before it reaches our customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; formal automotive training or certification is preferred
Seasoned Technician with at least 3 years experience with electric and diagnostics
Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on pre-owned vehicles
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

ASE certification(s) or other relevant automotive certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues
Perform diagnostic tests using specialized equipment to determine the cause of problems
Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical system work
Document all work performed and communicate findings and recommendations to the Service Advisor and/or customer
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and guidelines
Stay current with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development
