About The Position

Position Purpose: Saint Francis Hospital is looking for a Receptionist to join our Surgical Clinic . The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and care to all patients and clients. What you will do: Greets patients, verifies registration information, confirms insurance information, and scheduling follow-up appointments. Answers multi-line phone and triages calls Scheduling appointments and procedures for exams and procedures Performs clerical and secretarial tasks to support the department Assists Medical Assistant and works with other staff members to ensure the efficient and effective operation of clinic. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 years' experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Basic computer abilities.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple phone lines simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
