About The Position

As a receptionist you will report to Executive Assistant and Office Administrator. In this capacity you will be in charge of the front desk as well as general administrative tasks. Provides a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors and employees of the company . Your most critical deliverables for this role are:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of prior front desk receptionist/customer service experience
  • Exceptional communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must have the ability to answer a multi-line switchboard.
  • Must possess superior customer service skills together with an even and friendly temperament
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of management, employees, vendors, and customers on a professional level every day.
  • You must be within commutable distance of Tarrytown, NY and must not require any form of visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answers and directs phone calls
  • Maintains cleanliness of front desk and main entrance
  • Sorting and sending out invoices
  • Update policies and procedures, and safety manuals.
  • Conference room scheduling
  • Update telephone listing
  • Additional back-up for mailroom responsibilities. (Mail, Fed –Ex, DGA report, office supply orders)
  • Member of the safety team
  • Office Services related projects.
