Job Purpose The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members, guests, vendors, and visitors entering the club. This role is responsible for creating a warm, professional, and efficient front-of-house experience by managing check-ins, answering inquiries, directing foot traffic, and supporting administrative needs. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and dependable, with a strong commitment to service and maintaining the welcoming environment our clubs are known for.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service or front-desk experience preferred, ideally in hospitality, club, or recreational environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively in person and by phone.
  • Professional, polished, and welcoming demeanor with consistent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and point-of-sale platforms.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Must meet age requirements for handling transactions as required by state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests promptly, professionally, and courteously upon arrival.
  • Manage check-ins for tee times, lessons, events, and club access.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to questions, and route inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Provide accurate information regarding club amenities, schedules, policies, and upcoming events.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and well-presented front desk and lobby area.
  • Assist with point-of-sale transactions, including merchandise purchases and guest fees, as applicable.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, filing, and maintaining daily logs.
  • Communicate effectively with Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, Events, and other departments to support smooth guest experiences.
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall club operations.
