About The Position

This position is a critical first impression of the church with both current and potential members as well as vendors. In addition, this position will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness through upkeep of the office and communication protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the reception area to the COF main office by ensuring the space is covered during all regular office hours (9:00am – 4:00pm) for answering and directing calls, providing basic church information, greeting arrivals and connecting them with the appropriate party.
  • Ensure copiers, the postage machine, and other equipment are maintained, including but not limited to: refilling paper, replacing/ordering toner and other supplies, and submitting work orders as needed for maintenance.
  • Ensure refrigerator and snacks are re-stocked daily and purchase items as needed.
  • Maintain office supply stock and place orders for staff as needed on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Ensure office organization by maintaining mailboxes, phone lists, mail delivery and pickup.
  • Assist the various departments at Community of Faith with administrative needs including, event registration, data entry and upkeep, and any activity in the various platforms utilized.
  • Ensure the timely follow-up of all phone calls and emails.
  • Anything else as required by Community of Faith leadership.
