About The Position

The Receptionist ensures every visitor or phone call is directed to the appropriate staff member in the assigned office. "Has minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role."

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Six months of experience working in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in high traffic situations.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office tools and applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience interacting with all levels of an organization and its clients.
  • Understanding of Taft-Hartley environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answers and efficiently routes incoming calls accordingly.
  • Documents and distributes messages as necessary.
  • Greets visitors to the reception area and contacts appropriate staff to assist.
  • Maintains lobby and reception area in an organized and professional manner.
  • Performs clerical duties such as filing and preparing documents for mailing as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
