About The Position

The Receptionist serves as the "First Face" of the community, providing exceptional customer service as the initial point of contact for visitors. This role also acts as a "Go-To Guide," answering questions from residents, vendors, guests, or employees in person or by telephone. Additionally, the Receptionist functions as an "Exceptional Assistant," supporting the administrative team with assigned tasks and ensuring timely and professional phone call management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Possess clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical solving skills if needed.
  • Have a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must be professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
  • This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping most of the day.
  • Sedentary periods of one to three hours are also required.
  • This position requires employee to be able to retrieve items from storage, including overhead bins or cabinets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming host, providing exceptional customer service during every interaction.
  • Answer, or help find the answer, to any questions received by residents, vendors, guests, or employees, whether in person or by telephone.
  • Assist the administrative team in completing any tasks assigned.
  • Ensure that phone calls are answered in a timely and professional manner.
