The Front Desk Counselor provides supportive counseling and crisis intervention as required by individual residents. Major areas of responsibility include monitoring the safety and security of the facility, providing good customer service, and exercising good judgment in managing crises. Essential functions include maintaining the safety and security of the facility, monitoring video surveillance cameras, conducting hourly building walk-throughs, documenting significant activities, performing light maintenance and housekeeping, ensuring visitor identification and sign-in, conducting monthly fire drills, assessing and responding to resident situations using de-escalation techniques, reporting crises and emergencies, managing medication in accordance with policy, maintaining accurate client case records, conducting apartment inspections, assisting clients with daily living skills, escorting clients to appointments, participating in staff meetings, and adhering to personnel and residential policies.
