About The Position

Alpin Haus is looking to fulfill a Receptionist position. The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors, answering phones, directing customers and callers to appropriate destinations, and providing general clerical support.

Requirements

  • Solid computer skills with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Detail oriented, well organized, and able to perform multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor to react positively to a wide range of customer interactions
  • Experience in following verbal and written guidelines to perform job functions
  • Talking and hearing, sitting, repetitive hand motion, using hands to grasp, and reaching with arms/hands, are required.
  • No exposure to adverse environmental conditions; work is performed in a typical office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests by greeting them with an always-friendly demeanor and assisting them with their inquiries; contact staff members to alert them to visitors arriving for appointments
  • Answer telephone and provide information; forward calls to the proper person or department
  • Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures; maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of company
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the specified department team and to other departments as requested
