How you'll contribute A Receptionist who excels in this role: The Receptionist is responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls appropriately, registering patients, collecting co-pays, directing and scheduling patients and visitors, acting as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, as well as assisting patients with check out. The Receptionist is also responsible for the management of medical records and coordination with others both within and outside the organization and to assure that records are complete and accurate. These duties facilitate the sharing of medical records with other HIPAA compliant providers and organizations. Follow established policies and procedures, objectives, safety standards, and sensitivity to confidential information.
