About The Position

The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, including greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our office. This role requires a personable and professional individual who can create a positive first impression and efficiently manage day-to-day administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment; strong preference towards food manufacturing/processing.
  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative, or similar role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate on all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment and exercise mature judgment.
  • Excellent keyboarding and data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner, directing them to the appropriate staff members or meeting rooms.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages, and handle outgoing mail and courier services.
  • Manage conference room bookings, coordinate appointments, and maintain an organized schedule for the office.
  • Maintain visitor logs and ensure all security protocols are followed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
