About Hospice of Wichita Falls For over 40 years, Hospice of Wichita Falls has been the only non-profit community-based hospice in the area, providing services in 12 North Texas counties. Our wonderful nursing staff meets our patients and families where they are, private homes, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and our freestanding 24-bed inpatient center. It is our goal to provide premier care while honoring and upholding the patient's wishes whenever possible. Your life as a Receptionist/Development Assistant Your role is very important to our patients and organization. We will rely on you to ensure that we support our staff in making sure that donations are input into bloomerang timely. We work as a team so there will be a need to interact with other members of our team to greet and assist visitors. You will be an assistant to the Development team. Your schedule is generally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Combinations of relevant education, experience, and training will be considered.
  • Experience in administrative procedures, phone etiquette, direct communication, and customer service required.
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and posess above-average proficiency in Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with database software preferred, particularly donor database software.
  • Sales and/or Fundraising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that we support our staff in making sure that donations are input into bloomerang timely.
  • Interact with other members of our team to greet and assist visitors.
  • Assistant to the Development team.
