At The Piper Living, our Receptionist/Concierge is the heart of the front desk — greeting guests, supporting residents, and helping our community run smoothly. Position: Receptionist / Concierge Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Flexibility to cover occasional weekends if needed Pay: $15/hour What You’ll Do As our Receptionist/Concierge, you will: Welcome residents, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism Manage the community’s phone and paging system with accuracy Direct calls and questions to the appropriate team members Ensure all guests sign in/out and follow safety procedures Assist residents with requests and guide them to the proper channels Maintain confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines Receive, sort, and distribute mail Assist with ordering and managing office supplies Receive payments and issue receipts Schedule transportation requests for medical appointments Perform general office duties (copying, filing, faxing, etc.) Support resident activities and events when needed Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively Support coworkers with additional tasks as needed Ensure compliance with resident rights and promptly report concerns What We’re Looking For Customer-service driven and friendly Dependable, organized, and comfortable multitasking Professional appearance and demeanor Able to learn new tasks and follow established procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patient, courteous, and tactful when working with residents and families Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service environments preferred Education & Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform general office tasks Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally Why You’ll Love Working at The Piper Living The Piper isn’t just a senior living community — it’s a warm, engaged, person-centered home where relationships matter.
