About The Position

The Receptionist provides administrative support and performs clerical, customer service, and non-technical duties within assigned practices or departments. This role serves as a key point of contact for patients, staff, and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare statistical reports and perform clerical duties such as: Managing incoming/outgoing mail, Maintaining filing systems and databases, Typing correspondence and documents, Copying, scanning, and faxing
  • Greet visitors and communicate with patients, providers, and departments
  • Answer, direct, and manage phone calls and messages
  • Organize, coordinate, and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment; monitor and order supplies
  • Respond to information requests and inquiries
  • Coordinate workflow and maintain records of office activities
  • Perform basic accounting functions such as: Processing invoices, Making deposits, Managing petty cash (if applicable)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and committees
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
  • Work scheduled shifts, including overtime if required
  • Accept call schedules as directed
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with dress code
