About The Position

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. The Bariatric Surgery Center is looking for an LPN to join their team. It is a small, close-knit department, with work split between two locations: the Bariatric clinic at the South University location and the Broadway General Surgery location. This is a clinic position supporting the practice of one of the surgeons and APPs. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This position offers an opportunity for both newly graduated LPNs and those with years of experience to work shoulder to shoulder with providers. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • If position requires IV therapy/management skills in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
