About The Position

Works under the supervision of the Clinic Manager of Bariatric Care to collect and submit reliable data to the MBSAQIP Data Registry Platform. Supports the organization in communication of information accomplished through high-quality data compilation, documentation, and entry of 100 percent of bariatric procedures. Identifies opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects as may be identified. Performance relies on general nursing/clinical knowledge as well as access to a clinical mentor who can advise when clinical questions arise. Advanced computer skills are required to proficiently utilize the software and web applications for data entry and report generation. Capable of obtaining information through various sources such as medical records, social security death index and direct patient contact. Ability to identify opportunities to report bariatric data to Regulatory bodies, Leadership, and Physician groups. Mosaic Life Care is a health care system in northwest Missouri.
