About The Position

Receives and greets all Filling Homes visitors Handles the telephone switchboard system by screening calls and referring to appropriate personnel Processes/distributes all incoming/outgoing mail and packages Orders and disburses office supplies and assists in maintaining all office machines Maintains and makes corrections to Filling Home policy manuals Processes all checks and cash for Filling Homes’ clients and Fulfilling Housing Serves as a trusted business assistant and confidential liaison to many, managing sensitive business interactions including contracts, bids, and agreements with accuracy and discretion Assists Mission Advancement by accurately logging, tracking, and handling donor information and monetary contributions, including acknowledgements, to support financial integrity and accurate reporting Assists the Health Information Management (HIM) Department with clerical tasks as assigned Completes tasks for other departmental staff as requested/needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Must be able to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality of information
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize projects, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Accurate typing abilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor, co-workers and visitors
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, with employees, donors, volunteers, and the public in a courteous manner.
  • Must be able to work an occasional evening or weekend hours for special events.
