About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to support the reception desk in Huntsville, Alabama. The main responsibilities include greeting and checking in customers and guests, creating and issuing photo ID and access badges, and ensuring the security of the building. This is a customer-facing position requiring excellent customer service skills, as candidates are expected to present a pleasant and professional impression to all guests. The role demands high organization and the ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a Receptionist or Administrative role.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or college coursework preferred.
  • Experience in a busy front desk setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional communication skills, both in person and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with desktop computing platforms, including MS Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to sit for long periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Work hours are from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work overtime when needed.
  • Answer phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate employee.
  • Badge visitors and contractors.
  • Assist clients with conference room scheduling.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support.
  • Support other onsite roles with assignments.
  • Submit tickets for facility-related issues and building maintenance using Corrigo.
  • Maintain an updated building contact list for key personnel.
  • Update and maintain the Concierge Playbook at the desk.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Adapt to changing roles and responsibilities as needed.
