About The Position

The Receiving/Warehouse Operations Manager manages the receiving and delivery functions for Agua Caliente Casinos (ACC) and special Tribal Office requests. Also, responsible for managing the daily interoffice and tribal mail sorting and delivery duties. Maintains on-site storage facilities for all casino properties, that includes ordering, issuing and maintaining product inventory for certain F&B products and other general operating supplies.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • 5 - 10 years related job experience in multi-unit operation
  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral
  • Computer knowledge required
  • Valid driver’s license/clean DMV record
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to grasp, bend, lift/carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 60 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
  • Requires sufficient dexterity to use receiving and office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and budgets responsibly for operational needs and requirements.
  • Ensures that all team members are properly trained and maintain a high level of proficiency
  • Monitors performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to Casino/Hotel policies and procedures
  • Processes receipts of purchase orders using up to three financial systems of record (Redock/Data Works/Eatec) and delivers the merchandise to individual departments.
  • Communicates with the Procurement Department for proper follow-up and documentation of receipts that do not match with the purchase orders (substitutions, returns, rejects, damaged merchandise and shortages).
  • Responsible for the custody and safekeeping of inventory
  • Maintains the ACC warehouse racking/cooling rooms and their contents.
  • Manages movement of Casino supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Manages special projects
  • Identifies and institutes more efficient inventory management processes including identifying unsaleable/slow moving stock, reduction of order frequencies, conducting periodic cycle counts and month end physical inventories
  • Adheres to all Tribal ordinances, regulations, casino internal controls and standard operating procedures
