This position is part of the Supply Chain Quality & Production Organization and is responsible for the supervision and day-to-day management of Receiving Inspectors and their application of quality principles in the areas of: incoming material inspection & test, evaluation, and acceptance of all parts and material used on all Programs across the Lockheed Martin Space business line. In this role you will collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and suppliers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards and inspection criteria are in place. Track and analyze metrics to develop process improvements and reduce inspection times, all while maintaining customer satisfaction and experience. Must be a US Citizen. Requirements

  • 2-Year College degree
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electronic components
  • Leadership Experience: Ability to effectively assign, prioritize work tasks in alignment with the organization's vision
  • Proven ability to make real-time managerial decisions using KPI's and metrics
  • Proven ability to analyze metrics and identify gaps in performance to include Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action
  • Proven ability to manage resources within an operations environment to meet cost, schedule, and quality parameters
  • Strong communication skills including technical writing
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various technical procedures, reports, and engineering drawings
  • US Citizen
