Requirements

  • LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of colleagues, managers and customers.
  • REASONING ABILITY - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • MATH SKILLS - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, weights, proportions, percentages, area and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Unloads trucks and stages material according to company procedures.
  • Performs physical inspection of material received.
  • Matches material to quality control requirements.
  • Receives material into stock by proper location and inventory tag.
  • Performs computer entry into the system, i.e. allocations, transformations, reservations and entry into inventory.
  • Receives other deliveries for the facility and delivers to proper department or individual.
