About The Position

Sorter KCC Companies is an employee-owned (ESOP) company dedicated to providing complete design, manufacturing, installation, and service for commercial & residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). Summary: Primary role is to handle sheet metal in various states of work in progress to assist in the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Entry level position
• HS diploma preferred but not required
• Self-starter and attention to detail a must
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Requires bending, stooping, and standing
• Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. (Overtime may extend time period.)
• Good visual and spatial perception
• Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.

Responsibilities

• Sort sheet metal From a skeleton and place in a pile
• Collect finished sheet metal parts and place into racks
• Run full carts to the assembly stations
• Retrieve empty carts from the assembly line stations
• Count/inventory sheet metal on a needed basis
• Ability to communicate with walkie talkie in English
