At Zero-Max the Receiving Coordinator processes all inbound shipments, outside services pickups and deliveries, and other tasks appropriate to typical receiving department functions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months to one year receiving experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
  • Language skills - Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Mathematical skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning ability - Ability to apply sound judgement in carrying out written or oral instructions.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and shipments daily
  • Regularly balancing freight options to meet requirements (expedite or regular as needed)
  • Understand special packaging requirements and address them as needed
  • Work closely with all levels of staff focusing on purchasing and production management

  • Forklift Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Unload delivery vehicles as needed
  • Confirm correct parts, quantities, and condition against packing lists and notifies purchasing of any discrepancies
  • Enter product receipts into the ERP system (Epicor) and print receiving labels
  • Scan packing list, receivers, certifications (if provided), and shipping documents into document management system (DocStar)
  • Print part tags and affixes to all parts or pallets as needed
  • Move processed parts to stock bin locations, quality department (if inspection is required), or other locations within the facility
  • Confirm job packet parts and quantities and package for safe transport
  • When PO’s have been created by purchasing, label boxes and pallets with appropriate information and use online courier portal to arrange deliveries as needed
  • When notified, use online courier portal to arrange pickups for parts returning to Zero-Max
  • Confirm correct parts, quantities, and condition of outside services parts against the job packet
  • Follow process outlined above to bring parts into the ERP system and move to required locations

  • Support for shipping and inventory control as needed
