This position will report to the Supervisor, FBZ and Receiving. The purpose of this position is to carry out all duties involved with unloading and receiving material into the warehouse.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Have a good understanding of BPCS & ADC systems
• Good communications and computer skills
• Ability to add & subtract, multiply, divide.
• Knowledge of inventory procedures and transactions
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence

Responsibilities

• Ability to handle deliveries and inventory control procedures.
• Loading and unloading packages up to at least 50 lbs.
• Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and item numbers with information on invoices or packing slips and purchase orders; record any discrepancies or damages.
• Inspect shipments for damage defects.
• Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer planners and other personnel
• Submit proper documents and notifications to accounts payable.
• Delivers materials systematically and physically to various locations within the plant in a timely manner
• Must be able to operate a forklift truck.
