The Ohio State University College of Dentistry seeks an Receiving and Distribution Senior Coordinator position to join the patient care team in Clinic Administration to support the dental clinics. The College’s Instrument Management Services / Shipping and Receiving area in Clinic Administration is an important function in the health care delivery system The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into ten divisions with all major ADA-recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs. The Instrument Management Services (IMS) Second Shift-Lead a Receiving and Distribution Senior Coordinator position reports to the IMS supervisor. This position will work with the IMS Supervisor to provide open to close leadership on the floor and fill in for the supervisor when needed. This position assists the supervisor via coordinating and monitoring / stocking the third and fourth floor student clinics Building B; this includes stocking and verifying the completion of the stocking of the operatories, supply storage rooms, student clinic labs, supply carts and supply shelves on the clinic floors; assists with the maintenance of and cleaning the third and fourth floor student clinic labs; performs weekly eyewash station inspections as part of an IMS rotation; assists in the overall operation of IMS / Stores including but not limited to receiving shipments via Shipping & Receiving, unloading / unpacking, verification of quantity and condition of orders, issuing and delivering supplies and equipment; assist with building mail as needed; responsible for perpetual inventory control chemicals and their disposal. This position will also provide training for associates on second shift and be available to help resolve any conflicts or concerns that arise after the first shift leadership team leaves or is out of the office. General office duties include greeting visitors, answering the telephone, assisting faculty / staff / students and coordinating special event deliveries to other departments and/or areas of the university. Monday – Friday 12:00pm-9:00pm. May work nights and/or weekends as needed for college events This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening. Candidate must be able to: work nights and/or weekends as needed for college events; frequently lifting/pulling/pushing up to 70 lbs., bending/twisting/turning/ reaching below knees and above shoulders on a regular basis; standing/walking for periods of time. Candidate must have the use of both hands. Other specific requirements include excellent hand-eye coordination, visual acuity and communicate / language development. Individuals in this position may be exposed to the following: chemical hazards (skin irritants). Target pay range: $17.50 - 22.86 based on experience.
