About The Position
Smooth Closing is a Texas-based real estate investment company built on one simple idea: treat homeowners fairly, move fast, and do what we say we’re going to do. We buy houses directly from the Seller, with no agents involved, and purchase over 75 houses per year! We’re growing, and we’re looking for a driven, curious, and relentless sales professional to join our acquisitions team. This is not a work-from-home role. This is a hands-on, in-office position with time spent researching targeted homeowners and going on in-home appointments across Central Texas. What You’ll Actually Be Doing This role is a mix of research, strategy, problem-solving, and in-home appointments:

- No real estate experience required
- No sales experience required
- We care far more about drive, curiosity, and work ethic than your resume.
- If you’re hungry to learn and willing to be coached, we’ll teach you everything you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Work from our office to research and locate homeowners on small, highly targeted lists
- Strategize the best approach to reach each homeowner (this is not mass outreach)
- Meet homeowners in person at their property to understand their situation
- Present fair, win-win solutions and guide sellers through the process
- Follow up consistently and persistently until you get a clear yes or no
- Work closely with leadership and operations to get deals across the finish line
