We’re hiring a Real Estate Coordinator at our office in Chattanooga, TN , and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The Real Estate Coordinator plays an important role in supporting EquipmentShare’s national growth. This position is responsible for researching markets, identifying properties that fit EquipmentShare’s criteria, and organizing property information for internal review. The Lead Coordinator is responsible to provide EquipmentShare Real Estate Expansion Team a steady pipeline of qualified properties nationwide to be evaluated for lease or purchase. The role begins with research, data entry, and internal communication, with no outbound contact required at the start. The position may expand to include outbound communication and coordination with brokers, property owners and internal stakeholders, coordinating market tours, deal flow management, and participation in the full property acquisition process. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in real estate sourcing and play a part in EquipmentShare’s rapid expansion.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and consistent organization.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of property data across multiple markets.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for internal updates.
  • Ability to understand zoning details, parcel information, and basic mapping tools.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and willingness to learn new software.
  • Self-motivated and dependable with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally if needed.
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial real estate, market research, brokerage coordination, or high-volume project coordination.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using real estate listing platforms or property research tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with zoning terms and industrial property requirements is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Learn EquipmentShare’s property requirements and criteria for Core, Advanced, Tooling, and Site Solutions rental departments
  • Document specific market requirements from the Regional & District Managers
  • Organize and execute market research in priority directed by the Real Estate Manager
  • Conduct extensive online market research on platforms such as LoopNet, Crexi, CoStar, CityFeet, Commercial Cafe, PropertyShark, and local brokerage websites.
  • Identify properties listed for lease or purchase that meet EquipmentShare’s criteria
  • Enter and maintain accurate property and brokerage information in Google Sheets and Monday.com
  • Organize and categorize properties by market, submarket, and qualification status.
  • Prepare weekly lists, reports, and updates for the Real Estate Manager, Construction Project Managers, and Operations Management
  • Gather and log brochures, zoning information, parcel maps, GIS data, and other supporting documents to help evaluate each property.
  • Research and log zoning rules, land use requirements, and permitting processes for multiple cities and counties.
  • Maintain organized files, zoning references, and market notes for ongoing use.
  • Support future outbound efforts such as broker communication, property outreach, market comps, and offer support as the role expands.
