Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Information Services leadership team in the role of RCIS-Developer Senior.  This is a Direct Hire with Onsite Requirements as needed within the IU Health footprint. Scope: Encompasses a variety of responsibilities utilizing the Microsoft technology stack - with the primary focus areas being Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps. Works new requests from IU Health stakeholders, issues reported by system monitoring tools, project-level solution design, and guiding other team members on issue resolution. Participates in peer code-reviews, ensuring adherence to established standards and support Azure DevOps CI/CD processes. Requires the maintenance of existing data and processes, as well as development of new processes, solutions, and artifacts. Responsible for technical documentation of systems and/or processes within the established standards allowing sustainable support across the teams. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including IT infrastructure, application support, development teams, and operational partners. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in related field of healthcare and/or computer systems.
  • Requires 5+ years of technical experience with two or more technologies: T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MDX, DAX, Stored Procedures, Triggers, .NET Framework, or C#.
  • Requires 3+ Years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016+.
  • Requires high degree of accuracy and efficiency while managing data in a production focused environment.
  • Requires system experience working with end users.
  • Requires knowledge of how errors impact users; database and applications.
  • Requires ability to recognize discrepancies and perform research to determine cause and correct errors.
  • Requires knowledge of software applications and ability to comprehend and research technical issues.
  • Requires the ability to work independently and strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills problem solving; conflict resolution skills.
  • Requires ability to meet deadlines for data input to reports; ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred – Experience working within an Agile or SCRUM process.
  • Preferred – Experience utilizing source control mechanisms, especially in Azure DevOps Repos.
  • Preferred – Familiarity with medical and /or financial terminology.
  • Preferred – Experience in AI, Azure Foundry, and CoPilot Studio
  • Preferred – Experience in Data Bricks
