Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, or carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to adhere to quality and safety standards
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

  • Climb up and down railcar ladders while maintaining three points of contact
  • Open and close railcar doors before and after loading
  • Install and remove bridge plates (50 lbs) and maintain proper storage after use
  • Clean out railcar debris using a blower as required
  • Follow required AAR pre-trip procedures and Autoport safety guidelines
  • Work safely at heights of up to 15 feet
