Rail Prep Supervisor
About The Position
Our client in New Boston, MI is seeking Working Supervisors their rail transport yard. The working supervisors must have previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead, as well as a valid driver’s license and it is preferred that you are able to drive a manual transmission car. Working Supervisors will be supervising the shuttle drivers, rail prep workers and rail loaders in their job duties. Working Supervisors are required to be safety conscious, have good deductive reasoning and computer skills. Location: In the New Boston, MI area. This position coordinates the activities of all crews under the direction of the Terminal Manager to ensure a well-coordinated, productive operation. #MI1
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead
- Valid driver’s license

- Computer skills

Responsibilities
- Organizing and scheduling staff and directing the day-to-day operations of all functions
- Ensuring the quality of moving, preparing & loading/unloading of vehicles onto out-bound trains and inbound trains through efficient productivity of the work crews
